MISSION AND VISION
Our Mission
"Walk with God,
do His will"
Our mission wherever we are,
wherever we go is to "walk with God and do His will".
What does it mean to "walk with God?
It is simply the Great Commandment— "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 22:37-40) Our mission is to keep that one thing that Jesus commanded us to do— to love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and to love others. We believe that this is a life of walking with God and being in intimacy with Him.
What does it mean to "do His will?
This is the Great Commission— "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20) Walking with God leads us to accomplish what's burning on His heart. Jesus commissioned us to ‘Go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them and teaching them all that He has commanded us', and He promises us that He will be with us until the end. So this is what we will do, until the end. We will save the lost, and train the saved.
We’re all about two things:
raising up the next generation and finishing God’s mission.
Our vision is to "train and equip the next generation army of God to finish the mission."
Mission is something that is burning on God’s heart. He called us to be “witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8) We want to see the day when every tribe, people and nation will stand before the throne and before the Lamb worshipping the One true God. We believe this is the picture of God’s mission accomplished. Therefore, our position is either to be sent or be the sender. God is a god of generations. He is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We believe that it is on God's heart to see every generation to unite together for His kingdom purpose. But especially in this day and age, our earnest desire is to see the next generation stand on their God-given calling and purpose— not to lose them to the patterns and cultures of this world. We long to see consecrated generations rise up together to advance the kingdom of God and finish His mission.
