STATEMENT OF BELIEFS

The Bible is God's Word to all people. It is written by human authors under the supernatural inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

It is accurate, authoritative, relevant and applicable to our everyday lives.

God exists as the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

While they all serve different functions, they each possess equal power and authority.

People are created to exist forever either in separation from God in sin and therefore hell, or with God in heaven through forgiveness and salvation.

People's eternal destination of either heaven or hell is determined by one's response to our Lord Jesus Christ.

Man is made in the image of God and to be in relationship with God. This fellowship was broken through man's sinful disobedience.

As a result, man cannot earn or attain right standing before God through their own effort.

Faith alone in Christ is the only way of salvation through the forgiveness of sin. Salvation occurs when people place their trust in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin.

Salvation cannot be earned— it is a gift from God. Faith in Jesus and the blood He shed for us allows us to approach God.

To live holy and fruitful lives as God intended, we need to know the Word of God, be baptised by water, be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, and be actively part of the body of Christ— the Church.

God has called all His people to worship Him and glorify Him in all contexts, whether that be at home, work, church, or in the nations. Ultimately, we become more like His Son Jesus Christ, as we live out His will on this earth.

Church is family.

The church is the body of Christ with Christ at its firm foundation and head.

It is a community of believers unified through faith in Christ. It is committed to the teaching of Christ and obeying all His commands as it seeks to take the gospel to the nations.

The church longs for the return of Jesus.

It is a place where all people can come and be transformed by the transforming power of His grace.
