GENESIS SERIES RECAP 📑
1️⃣ Acceptable Worship

[Hebrews 11:4]
The key to acceptable worship —> FAITH
Abel’s offering = Faith
Cain’s offering = Form
There’s a sacrificial nature to worship.
God rejects half-hearted, casual, faithless worship.

“More then just the routine and form of coming to church but really give him an offering he wants.”

2️⃣ Opportunity

God gives us the opportunity to repent.
PUSH AWAY - things of this world
PULL IN - things of God
Posture & Attitude = HUMILITY

“I need to let go of my pride, arrogance, and my ‘way’ to truly align myself with God. I need to make the conscious to choose Him again and again.”

3️⃣ The 3 Strongholds of Cain

THE STRONGHOLDS
1. Jealousy
2. Deceit
3. Hatred
God created us sufficient.
God created us loved.
BE HONEST before God and be cleansed.

“The root of my jealousy is that I don’t fully accept God’s love is sufficient for me.. only way I can be free from this is to spend more time with God who calls me as enough.”
